Hi, I’m Alex Rowan.

I’m a product builder and editor based in Portland, Oregon. I started Kinox to make fast-moving tech easier to judge. I care about clear tests, plain words, good design, and tools that help people finish real work.

My background sits between product work, web publishing, and software. That mix shapes every guide here. I look at the full path—from the first setup to price, limits, privacy, and the point where a tool may become hard to leave.

How Kinox works

I start with the question a reader is trying to answer. Then I review current product pages, help docs, plan details, and public notes from real users. I check dates and flag facts that may change.

Kinox does not invent test results. When a guide draws on public product facts or user reports, it says so. Each article aims to give you a useful next step, not just a long feature list.

Editorial rules

Plain language comes first.
Prices and product claims get a date.
Real limits belong beside the good parts.
Affiliate links do not change the final call.
Errors are fixed when found.
